Hermes Agent

Hermes Agent is a hosted autonomous agent environment on a dedicated AppWizzy VM.

Use it for multi-step work that needs persistent files, terminal tools, and a dedicated task dashboard.

Included environment

The template includes:

  • the Hermes Agent runtime.
  • a protected web dashboard.
  • a persistent /workspace directory.
  • terminal and file operations.
  • managed AI and voice transcription access.
  • an API endpoint with a project-specific key.
  • an AppWizzy mobile connection.
  • SSH access to /workspace.

Each new project receives clean runtime state, workspace files, and access credentials.

Create the agent

  1. Open the AppWizzy template catalog.
  2. Select Hermes Agent.
  3. Enter the project name.
  4. Select an available machine size.
  5. Review the displayed charges.
  6. Create the project.

You do not need an initial generator message. Wait until the VM becomes ready.

Open the dashboard

Open project settings after provisioning. The Hermes Agent section shows:

  • the dashboard URL.
  • the dashboard username.
  • the dashboard password.
  • the API base URL.
  • the API key.

Open the dashboard URL and enter the displayed credentials. Keep the dashboard password and API key secret.

Run a task

  1. Open the Hermes dashboard.
  2. Create or select a session.
  3. Enter the task and its required result.
  4. Review progress and completed output.

Hermes can inspect files, use terminal tools, and create deliverables in the project workspace.

Use the mobile connection when you need to start or monitor work away from your desktop.

Managed AI access

AppWizzy connects Hermes to the managed AI proxy during deployment. Managed model and transcription usage appears in AppWizzy billing.

Keep the VM active during work

Hermes can run tasks only while its VM is active. Do not pause the VM while a task must continue.

A pause preserves files on the active disk. Resume the VM and review the session before you continue.

Protect dashboard and API access

Anyone with the dashboard credentials can access agent sessions and workspace data.

Anyone with the API key can send supported requests to the project API. Store the key as a secret.
