Pricing, Plans, and Credits
AppWizzy uses one AppWizzy credit balance for all paid services. One AppWizzy credit equals one US dollar.
Subscriptions and top-ups add credits to the same AppWizzy credit balance. You can use these credits for VM hosting, managed AI, and one-time template license fees.
The three main cost types
1. VM hosting
Each machine size has a VM hosting rate in credits. The creation interface displays this rate.
AppWizzy charges VM hosting in indivisible 24-hour hosting periods.
A hosting period starts when the VM starts or resumes.
- AppWizzy measures the hosting period from the start or resume time.
- AppWizzy does not use a calendar time zone for this charge.
- AppWizzy charges each started hosting period in full.
- AppWizzy does not provide a smaller billing unit or prorate a hosting period.
- A pause does not refund unused time in the current paid hosting period.
- AppWizzy does not charge a new hosting period while the VM remains paused.
- AppWizzy refunds a failed provisioning charge.
The creation interface shows only machine sizes that support the selected template.
2. Managed AI
When you use managed AI, model use consumes credits from your AppWizzy credit balance. The selected model rate determines the charge.
The model selector shows the current rate. AppWizzy shows model use and its charge in your billing activity.
If you use a personal ChatGPT login or BYOK, your provider account pays the provider charge. AppWizzy charges VM hosting separately.
3. Template license
Some templates have a one-time license fee in credits. The template page and creation confirmation show this fee separately from VM hosting and managed AI.
Template: Free or No template license fee means that the one-time template license fee is zero. VM hosting and managed AI are not free.
Subscriptions and top-ups
A subscription adds the credits and account entitlements on the current pricing page. A top-up adds credits without a change to credit value.
Both add credits to the same AppWizzy credit balance. AppWizzy deducts credits for the service that you use.
Before you create or resume a VM, make sure that your AppWizzy credit balance covers the displayed charges.
These charges can include VM hosting and a one-time template license fee. Your plan can also control project limits and private project availability.
What happens when credits run out
If AppWizzy cannot charge the next hosting period, AppWizzy can pause the VM and schedule it for deletion.
AppWizzy attempts permanent deletion at least seven calendar days after the deletion notice. An additional operational grace period usually applies.
An account or service notice can give a different deadline. Add credits and successfully resume the VM before the displayed deadline.
A successful resume cancels the scheduled cleanup.
See VM Lifecycle and Billing and Project Deletion and Retention.
