Generated App Specification

Applies to: App Generation projects with a saved application description

The Specification page preserves the requirements conversation that started the project. It helps you review the context for the initial generated application.

Specification access can depend on your plan. The project navigation shows the page when the project and account support it.

What the page contains

The page shows the messages from the App Generation requirements conversation. It includes your answers and the AI Architect questions.

If conversation messages are unavailable, AppWizzy can show the saved application description instead.

The specification is an initial project artifact. It is not a live representation of every later code or database change.

Open the specification

  1. Open the App Generation project.
  2. Select Specification in the project navigation.
  3. Review the conversation in chronological order.
  4. Compare it with the current application behavior.

If Specification is not available, check your plan and confirm that the project has a saved application description.

Create the PDF

  1. Open Specification.
  2. Select Generate specification PDF.
  3. Wait while AppWizzy creates the file.
  4. Download the PDF when it is ready.

AppWizzy can also send a copy to the email address for your account.

After generation, the button can show Download specification PDF for the prepared file.

Review the content

Check these items before you share the specification:

  • the business objective.
  • the user roles.
  • the main entities and relationships.
  • the required workflows.
  • the permission rules.
  • the reports and dashboards.
  • the integrations and external dependencies.
  • the assumptions that need confirmation.

Correct important gaps in the application and in your project records.

Keep a current change record

Later Edit via Chat requests do not automatically rewrite the initial requirements conversation. Source changes can also make the PDF outdated.

Use saved project versions, Git history, and your own change record for later implementation changes.

Do not use the specification PDF as a VM backup. It does not contain source code, application data, uploads, credentials, or system state.
