The WordPress template provides a fresh WordPress site in a hosted LAMP environment. It includes an AI agent, WP-CLI, and SSH access.
Use the live template catalog for current availability, machine sizes, and template fees.
Suitable websites
Use this template for:
- company and marketing websites.
- blogs and editorial sites.
- online stores that use WooCommerce.
- membership and learning websites.
- directories and listing websites.
- WordPress installations used as a headless content system.
Choose another template when you need a custom Django application or a general PHP runtime without WordPress.
Create the project
- Open the AppWizzy template catalog.
- Find Website with WordPress and select Deploy.
- Describe the website and its main visitor action.
- Select one of the available machine sizes.
- Review the displayed charges and create the project.
- Wait until the project and initial website are ready.
AppWizzy shows only machine sizes that support this template. Read Create a Hosted Machine for the common process.
Open the website and WordPress Admin
Open the website URL from the project page. Use the URL menu to open WordPress Admin.
The AI agent displays the administrator credentials after it completes the initial website work. Save these credentials in a secure password manager.
Do not share the administrator password in chat or source control. Change the password if another person can access it.
Change the website
Use Edit via Chat to request content, design, theme, plugin, or configuration changes.
The agent uses WP-CLI for WordPress administration. It can manage users, themes, plugins, settings, content, and supported custom data types.
You can also use WordPress Admin for normal content management. Use SSH when you need terminal access or direct file inspection.
Themes and plugins
The initial environment includes standard WordPress themes. The agent can use free plugins from the WordPress plugin directory when required.
Review each plugin before installation. Confirm its maintenance status, compatibility, data handling, and license terms.
Plugin and theme behavior remains the responsibility of their publishers and the customer.
WordPress data and persistence
The active VM disk stores WordPress files, uploaded media, themes, plugins, and database data.
Pause, resume, restart, and resize operations preserve the active disk. A restart can stop Apache, MySQL, and scheduled WordPress tasks.
Confirm that the website and required services work after a restart. Read Data Persistence and Backups for backup details.
AI access and charges
Managed AI works through the AppWizzy proxy. It does not require a provider account or provider key.

Maintenance and security
AppWizzy maintains the hosting infrastructure. You maintain WordPress, themes, plugins, users, content, and application security.
Apply WordPress security updates promptly. Remove unused plugins and themes. Give administrator access only to trusted users.
